Meet Terry

Terry wants to pass on his knowledge to the next generation.

You get exactly out of it what you put into it!

At 24, Terry went back to school in the Marketing program and was one of the older students.

The instructors brought their real world experience to the classroom. He remembers an instructor saying “If you did everything you could and didn’t get the sale, leave a trail.”

For him it was an exciting time, learning how to make public speeches, logo design, and more. The logos used for his business, Bill’s Distributing, are a product of his class assignment from CVTC.

Bill’s was built from scratch starting in 1979 and now is over 120 employees strong, making millions in sales each year.

Terry now speaks to classes about his time as president of Bill’s Distributing for over 30 years and CVTC graduates are a big part of their business. He says they are always looking for people who can run their automated systems, and he knows CVTC graduates will have the hands-on training to succeed and be a large resource to their company.

Terry says not a lot has changed from 1971, if you chart your course, add your efforts, integrity, and honesty, and give it all you’ve got you’ll do well.

His goal is to pass along his lifetime of business knowledge to the next generation of CVTC students!
