Meet Justin

Justin was looking for a hands-on education that connected him with industry professionals.

A tech school was the better route to go for me!

Justin thought about attending a four year university, but after visiting school decided that a tech school would be the better place for him. He was sold on CVTC after meeting the instructors - he liked that they were still working in the field and also teaching at the same time.

He graduated with a degree from the Agriculture program with Animal Science and Crop Agronomy emphasis. He then came back to CVTC and completed the Motorcycle, Marine & Outdoor Power Products Technician program.

During classes in his first semester he was out in the field crop scouting and visiting local dairy farms. He says that a hands-on experience was what he was looking for. He not only learned the skills, but who to talk to and where to look to find help. Now working on his family farm he uses skills learned through both of his degrees every day on the job. He gets to work with his father and brothers every day, which he says is a unique experience.

His goal is to use his degrees to keep family farming alive in Wisconsin and to continue the legacy of his family’s business!
