Strategy 2.1: Define and disaggregate data to increase equity and access across our service area and utilize data-informed decision making related to student success.
KPI Alignment: Graduation (Target – 85% for 1-yr; 55% for 2-yr) and Transfer (14% college-wide; 25% for UT)
Objectives:
- Identify and address program completion gaps for all students.
- Enhance non-academic services and interventions for students.
- Ensure equitable participation in dual credit opportunities across the CVTC district to align with regional high school demographics.
Strategy 2.2: Improve student retention and completion.

Objectives:
- Execute planned support services for all gateway courses at CVTC.
- Adopt the Guided Pathways framework across programs.
- Increase awareness of and access to non-academic services for students with an emphasis on mental health services.
- Integrate and scale Persistence & Completion initiatives developed through data-informed course and program-level improvement efforts.
Strategy 2.3: Enhance offerings and services for non-traditional and part-time students.

- Increase student engagement opportunities across all campuses and create intervention methods to fit student needs.

The Student Success Strategy Team has had a busy month updating and aligning the strategy to existing college initiatives and combining objectives for a clear understanding of the plan.

The Student Success Strategy Team met to review action strategies after feedback from the Steering Committee and begin working on who will be the implementation leads for the action strategies.
