CVTC offers free, one-day dental clinic for children
Chippewa Valley Technical College is hosting Give Kids a Smile – an event to provide free dental care for children – in its dental clinic from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7.
Services include dental cleaning, x-rays, fluoride, dental sealants, fillings, and extractions, and are free to participants.
Debbie Schumacher, CVTC dental programs coordinator, said the free day of dental care’s inception began in 2003 by the American Dental Association.
“Volunteers from the community and the CVTC Dental Clinic come together annually to make this possible for children,” she said. “This is an annual event held at the CVTC Dental Clinic serving more than 50 children.”
