Individualized Technical Studies Overview
If you have a career goal in mind and are undecided about the right educational program to help you prepare for it, the Individualized Technical Studies program is the right choice.
This program allows you to combine courses from two or more major areas of study into an associate of applied science degree that meets your career preparation goals, thus creating a custom degree. You begin by completing a program plan outlining your career objectives and the courses you'll need to meet those objectives.

Speech
Topic selection, audience analysis, methods of organization, research, structuring evidence and support, delivery techniques, and other essential elements of speaking successfully, including the listening process, form the basis of the course.
Written Communication
A variety of writing assignments are designed to help the learner analyze audience and purpose, research and organize ideas, and format and design documents based on subject matter and content.
Introduction to Ethics: Theory & Application
Students will critically evaluate individual, social, and professional standards of behavior to apply a systematic decision-making process to these situations.
