Transfer of Credits

Transfer IN to CVTC

You may be able to transfer credits toward an associate degree or technical diploma program for knowledge and skills you have previously mastered and which directly relate to the program curriculum. The attainment of these skills may be the result of prior work or volunteer experiences, or through courses completed at another accredited institution.

A minimum of 25% of graduation credit requirements must be directly earned through graded coursework at CVTC. A minimum of 12 credits must be in the technical discipline or occupational core.

Transfer OUT of CVTC

If you wish to continue your education at another institution you should contact the college to which you wish to transfer. The receiving institutions will determine acceptable credit transfers. CVTC does have transfer agreements in place with many four- year institutions.
